DESCRIPTION:In recognition of World Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day\, the Escambia County Healthy Start Coalition will hold a memorial service on Sunday October 15\, 2023. This memorial will be held to honor those who have been affected by a pregnancy or child loss. Parents and families will have the opportunity to gather for a candlelight vigil and a flower release on Bayou Texar. A moment of silence will be offered for the loved ones as well as a reading of names to recognize those we have lost. Bereavement materials will be offered to families\, including memory boxes\, support group offerings\, and other resources\, courtesy of the Coalition. This event will take place from 6:30-7:00pm at Bayview Park in the East Hill area. Open to the public\, and to anyone who has been personally affected by pregnant and infant loss.
