DESCRIPTION:Local vendors and subcontractors are encouraged to attend to learn more about the new Baptist Hospital construction project and the upcoming MRO project at Pensacola International Airport. This "Meet and Greet" is an opportunity for local contractors\, vendors and suppliers to join us on March 12 as we host a "Meet and Greet" Information Session with our general contractor for our new health campus\, Brasfield & Gorrie. The session will give local and minority contracts and vendors the opportunity to learn more about our construction project as well as the upcoming maintenance\, repair and overhaul hangar project that Brasfield & Gorrie has at Pensacola International Airport. Attendees will have an opportunity to engage in one-on-one discussions with representatives from Baptist and the project team. Those discussions will help match the needs of the projects with the resources available from local companies. \n\n\n\nIn effort to announce this upcoming project\, we are currently requesting your response to determine your interest in the project. Please respond by accepting or declining this project invitation to allow us to establish our communication plan as the project moves forward. If you accept\, we will continue to update you on major schedule milestones. If you decline\, we will remove you from any future communications regarding the project. We will continue to communicate updates through Building Connected as the project moves forward. We hope this allows you to plan your resources accordingly. The current scope of work includes a new 518\,000 square foot\, seven (7) story main hospital\, new 25\,000 square foot central energy plant\, 140\,000 square foot\, four (4) story medical office building and a Behavioral Health Hospital.
