DESCRIPTION:We want this workshop to empower you to advocate for yourself and make informed decisions during your labor and delivery experience. Too often\, we hear from women who felt unprepared - mentally\, emotionally\, and physically - for their first pregnancy and childbirth experience. Many women are unaware of their autonomy as patients\, leaving expectant mothers feeling disempowered in a sacred journey that should truly honor them at its center. The Maiden to Mother Workshop will utilize education\, meditation\, journaling exercises\, and embodiment practice to empower first time mothers from a place of deep authenticity. As with all More Than a Mother workshops\, Maiden to Mother takes a holistic approach to the transition into motherhood by nurturing the physical\, mental\, and spiritual health of the mother while not neglecting evidence-based medicine and provider-recommended best practices.
