SUMMARY:Summer Exhibit at the MESS Hall
DESCRIPTION:Pensacola MESS Hall Re-Opens for Visitation with Special Summer Exhibit\n\n\n\nAfter temporarily closing its doors in March to protect the health and safety of visitors\, staff\, and volunteers\, the Pensacola MESS Hall has officially reopened to the public. The MESS Hall is operating at reduced capacity and with new measures to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.\n\n\n\nThis summer\, visitors will investigate Our Planet: Past\, Present\, and Future. This special exhibition\, created by the MESS Hall\, celebrates the 50th anniversaries of Earth Day\, EPA\, and NOAA. Hands-on activities and informational signage explore information about how scientists study the Earth\, how Earth changes\, and the accomplishments of the last 50 years. In addition\, visitors are challenged to consider what we can accomplish for the Earth in the next 50 years.\n\n\n\nFamilies will schedule their visit during two-hour blocks between 10 AM - 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday. All staff and volunteers will wear masks\, and visitors are requested to follow CDC guidelines for masks. To ensure public safety\, the number of families and the total number of people in the MH at the same time will still be limited. Starting July 1\, each family will have at least 2 hours of visiting time and may stay after that time until new arrivals exceed the occupancy cap. We highly recommend families reserve a visitation slot\, to ensure their opportunity to enter when you arrive. Additionally\, we continue to require face masks for all visitors ages 10+ and recommend them for younger visitors. Our staff has increased the frequency and thoroughness of sanitizing procedures throughout the day.\n\nReserve a visit online today: http://www.pensacolamesshall.org/visit/\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MESS HALL\n\n\n\nFounded in 2012 and located at 116 N.
