128th Annual Meeting, Keynote Speaker: Grover Norquist

The much-anticipated, Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 19th at Skopelos at New World in celebration of the year’s accomplishments with a special afternoon of recognitions, executive summaries, and a nationally renowned keynote speaker, Grover Norquist, with over of 400 members of the Pensacola business community in attendance.

At this commemorative affair, the Chamber announces outgoing and incoming officers and members of the Board of Directors and honors the recipients of several important community awards including Small Business & Non-profit of the Year.

Who is keynote speaker Grover Norquist? Grover is president of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), a taxpayer advocacy group he founded in 1985 at President Reagan’s request. ATR works to limit the size and cost of government and opposes higher taxes at the federal, state, and local levels and supports tax reform that moves towards taxing consumed income one time at one rate.
