The possibility of an armed assault occurring anywhere in the United States is a real one. While local law enforcement will focus on subduing the gunman, it will be up to workplace management and staff where the incident occurred to work through the myriad of challenges associated with responding to, and recovering from, such an event.
The Greater Pensacola Chamber, in callaboration with the Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergence (BRACE) and the EscaRosa Business Continuity Initiative (BCI), will be hosting a seminar titled "Active Shooter Awareness: Is Your Business Prepared?" The seminar will highlight the importance of being ready should there be an active shooter in the workplace.
If you are unable to attend the seminar, there will be web-based exercise that can be completed in less than an hour. To register, click here.
