Artist Talk and Poetry Reading Featuring Margaret Biggs

The Pensacola Museum of Art welcomes artist Margaret Biggs on Friday, October 16 for her Artist Talk and Poetry Reading. She will also be doing a meet and greet and book signing. The event will take place from 6-8pm. Biggs' book ''Visions II: Through Painting and Poetry'' is available in the Museum Gift Shop. Biggs' exhibition Visions: Through Paintings, Poetry, and Prose is currently on display through November 14th. In this exhibition Biggs celebrates and explores Gulf Coast inspired landscapes, seascapes, and still life. These oil on canvas works are paired with Biggs' original poetry. Biggs aims to guide viewers towards a sense of peace and connectedness, towards beauty, security, and serenity. Biggs has exhibited regionally and nationally and her works are in numerous private and corporate art collections. Artist Talk & Poetry Reading: Thursday, October 16, 6-7pm. Meet & Greet and Book Signing: 7-8pm.
