Biscuits n' Bubbly Brunch

To top off the weekend celebration, guests are invited to a WSRE first – a Sunday jazz brunch sponsored by Gulf Power. The ''Biscuits n' Bubbly Brunch,'' held poolside at the Holiday Inn Resort Pensacola Beach Gulf Front, Sunday, October 20, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., features the ''King of Louisiana Seafood,'' Chef Cody Carroll. A fast-rising star in the culinary world, Carroll is the chef and owner of Hot Tails in New Roads, LA near Baton Rouge. Earlier this year he won the 6th Annual Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off, a New Orleans culinary competition, beating well-known chefs from Arnauds' and Bayona in New Orleans. Chef Cody and Chef Samantha Carroll, his wife and business partner, together with local host Chef Dan Dunn, are presenting a brunch fit for a king – with a Louisiana flavor. Tickets are $75 per person – seating limited.
