Christmas on the Coast: A Holiday Tradition

 Looking for a way to kick off the holiday season?  The Pensacola Children’s Chorus, under the direction of Allen and Susan Pote, will present its annual production of Christmas on the Coast Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 9 at 2:30 pm at the Pensacola Saenger Theatre in downtown Pensacola.  Tickets are on sale at the Saenger Theatre Box Office (weekdays between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm), at all TicketMaster outlets, and at www.ticketmaster.com; or charge by phone by calling 800-745-3000.  Prices are $36, $30 and $20.

 One of Northwest Florida’s most popular holiday events and a family tradition for 18 years, Christmas on the Coast presents many of our community’s most delightful and engaging performers, ages 9 – 18.  Chorus members are set to dazzle audiences with a Broadway style holiday extravaganza featuring the best of seasonal music, dynamic choreography, dazzling costumes and imaginative staging.  Segments will include “A Spanish Christmas,” “A Ceremony of Carols,” “Christmas on the Red Carpet,” and “Sparklejollytwinklejingle” from the Broadway musical, Elf.

 For audiences, Christmas on the Coast will be a family entertainment treat sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit.  The Pensacola Children’s Chorus is led by Founding Artistic Directors Allen and Susan Pote, with LaRaye Ryan as Costumer, and Emily Mixon and Michael Dennis as Choreographers.
