Destination 2020 Community Report

Visit Pensacola, the destination marketing group for the Pensacola area, is announcing one more stop on its journey to a five-year strategic plan.  As part of an ongoing planning process, Visit Pensacola will offer its Report to the Community on May 7, 2015 at The REX Theatre in Downtown Pensacola. The event will be begin at 1:30 p.m. and last until 3 p.m.

This community report will provide an update to the organization’s strategic planning process, dubbed Destination 2020. That process kicked off in January of this year with seven community and stakeholder engagement sessions held in downtown Pensacola, Perdido Key and Pensacola Beach. Destination 2020 is focused on building tourism as a broader economic development driver for the area.

The Destination 2020 Community Report is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Those interested in attending should RSVP to Destination2020.org.
