Fiesta Family Weekend

Join Fiesta for a free weekend of activities for kids and families. Two full days of treasure hunting, toys, games, and beach adventures. The Fiesta Children's Treasure Hunt is a time honored tradition and gives children the opportunity to learn about Pensacola's rich history. The 2014 Fiesta Children's Treasure Hunt will be held at Bayview Park in East Hill on Saturday, May 17. Registration for the Children's Treasure Hunt is free and includes a free lunch at 11:30 am. The hunt begins at 2 p.m. and is open to children 10 and under. Children hunt for coins to turn in for treasures while learning carnival games, face painting, activities, and musical entertainment. There are gifts for every child who registers. We hope that you will join us for this annual tradition where we celebrate Pensacola's greatest treasure…our children. The Fiesta Sand Sculpture Contest will take place on Sunday, May 18 at Pensacola Beach behind the Gulfside Pavilion (3 Casino Beach Blvd.). Registration begins at 8 a.m. and judging at 2 p.m. The competition is free and more than $1,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded. The public is invited to vote for their favorite sculptures in the ''People's Choice Awards.''
