Great Southern Beer Festival

"Fish House Beer Fest" Join us on the Fish House Deck for our 2nd annual Beer Fest on Saturday, June 14, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. We will be featuring over 50 different beers, live music, special beer presentations, guest speakers and more, with a portion of the event proceeds benefiting Autism Pensacola. According to the Fish House general manager, Jean Pierre N'Dione, "This event is designed to allow the public to taste an unlimited large variety of hand crafted beers with an opportunity to sample a number of styles determine your preferences. Beers from microbreweries, Pensacola Home Brewer's Association, and craft and specialty bottled beers will be available for tasting." Grayton Beer, Aviator, Lagunitas, Oskar Blues Widmer Brothers Brewing Company, Back Forty, Green Flash Brewing Company, Pensacola Bay Brewery - to name a few of the craft breweries - will be in attendance. In addition, we will be rolling out our brand-new handcrafted house brew, Fish House Fish Head Red, developed and brewed by Pensacola Bay Brewery. Beverage manager Josh Goldman states, "Our team has been working hand in hand with Pensacola Bay Brewery for the past year developing the recipe ­- we are excited to be showcasing it at this year's event." As another special addition, we will also have two spirit tables featuring a number of small production vodkas, rums and bourbons, including a special blend created for the Fish House: Great Southern Bourbon Blend. Throughout the course of the event there will be speaker presentations from Mark Robertson of Pensacola Bay Brewery, Trip Collins of Back 40 Brewery and Charlie Delapena from Sam Adams. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Tackle Shop, our gift and souvenir shop at the Fish House, for $20, or through our online shop, greatsouthernrestaurants.com/shop. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $25. Ticket holders will be given a souvenir beer glass and will have full access to all of the beers and bourbons. Designated-driver tickets are available for $10 and a special wristband will grant access to unlimited soft drinks, guest speakers and entertainment.
