Human Resources Management: Big Trouble for Small Business

The FL Small Business Development Center at the UWF is presenting ''Human Resources Management: Big Trouble for Small Business?'' on Tuesday, Jan 26th, from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. This seminar will provide an overview of the many aspects of Human Resources Management. Upon completion, attendees should have the tools needed to more effectively operate their business from an HR standpoint. Understanding the Fair Labor Standards Act; learn how to recruit, interview, hire, compete for, motivate, discipline and retain employees. Plus, discover how to properly institute a drug/alcohol testing policy. Location: Greater Pensacola Chamber. Attendance fee is $35 for the public and free for students and employees of the UWF who present a Nautilus card. Pre-registration is strongly recommended.
