Saturday evening's ''Legendary WSRE Classic VIP Dinner & Dance,'' from 6:30-10 p.m. at the gorgeous Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front, and presented by Polonza Bistro, features special guest, former White House executive pastry chef, Roland Mesnier. Originally from France, he began his career in the kitchen at age 14 as an apprentice. Mesnier served as the executive pastry chef at the White House for 25 years. He was responsible for creating thousands of elegant, delicious and dazzling desserts for presidents, first families, kings, queens and heads of state from around the world. He served under the administrations of Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. Today, he is an accomplished culinary instructor as well as a master chef. Guests of this limited seating gourmet dinner will enjoy multiple courses presented by some of Pensacola's own award-winning chefs followed by a live auction and special toe-tapping entertainment from ''The Tip Tops'' – back by popular demand. Tickets are $150 per person – seating limited.
