Pen Wheels Fiesta Fishing Rodeo
The 40th annual Fiesta of Five Flags Pen Wheels Fishing Rodeo will be held Saturday, May 3, from 9:00am - 12:00 pm at the Chester Jantz Catfish Pond in Walnut Hill . This event is designed especially for people with disabilities. There is no charge to participate, and free food and beverages are provided. All ages are welcomed to show off their fishing skills in hopes of winning one of many trophies and prizes. Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share, although it is not required. Participants are also suggested to bring lawn chairs. To reach Chester Jantz Catfish Pond, take Highway 29 (Pensacola Boulevard) north approximately 13 miles to Highway 97. Bear left and drive approximately 14 miles. Turn left on to Highway 99 south. Drive 1/2 mile and the fish pond is on the left (or simply follow the signs from Highway 97).
