The Pensacola Museum of Art is offering children 11 and under free admission (with the purchase of an adult admission ticket) Tuesday, June 9 – Sunday, June 14. School is out and what better way to celebrate than a trip to the PMA? Currently on display is The Lure of the Ocean: Original Works by Guy Harvey. While Harvey is widely recognized for his aquatic themed merchandise, he is much more than just a t-shirt brand. In addition to being an artist, Harvey is a scientist, conservationist, and explorer. Harvey earned his Ph. D. from the University of the West Indies in 1984 and devotes much of his time to traveling the world in pursuit of unveiling the mysteries of the deep. In addition to viewing Harvey's works you can also learn about mysterious creatures of the deep, tie your own nautical knots, take a photo in our Harvey themed photo booth, and show off your artistic skills while you make a Gyotaku (Japanese fish print). Celebrate the beginning of summer with the PMA!
