Sketching in the Galleries with Laurie Hansen

The Pensacola Museum of Art is always looking for unique ways to engage our adult patrons, members and supporters. We will be hosting a special adult art class from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. led by PMA educator Laurie Hansen. Join us for an exciting session spent sketching Guy Harvey's original works. Price for Sketching in the Galleries: The Lure of the Ocean is $5/adults and free for Museum members. Hansen is an experienced and skilled visual art instructor. She earned her BFA in 2005 at Central Washington University. Upon graduation she started a community school of arts as part of an art gallery in Ellensburg, WA. She grew it from a few students a week to over 100, offering classes to all ages and abilities including adults. It is still going strong to this day. She has taught at PMA since the summer of 2014 and it is clear that this is her passion and gift in life.
