Super Chili Bowl Cookoff

Let the chopping begin, at the Flora-Bama's ''Super'' Bowl Chili Cook-Off on Super Bowl Saturday. Teams of 3 register beforehand and will even dress up to show team spirit. They work their chili wizardry to win with their version of the best chili ever, and will receive an award at the end of the day. If you don't want to cook, come by and sample the wide variety of dishes. The Flora-Bama continues this annual event that benefits the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life. Date: February 6th, 2016 Start Time: Cooking begins at 10am, tickets start being sold & tasting begins at 12pm. Tickets: $2 per sample or $10 for six samples Rules & Regulations: Minimum 4 gallons of chili. Team to supply all cooking utensils, pots, burners, and ingredients. Must be willing to eat your own chili. Must be at least 21 years of age to participate. No outside alcoholic beverages. ENTRY FEE: $45 per 3-Man team - includes 3 event t-shirts, draft beer, plus other party favors. PRIZES: 1st Place - Perpetual Trophy and $100.00 Cash People's Choice - Perpetual Trophy and $99.00 Cash 2nd Place - Ribbon and $75.00 Cash 3rd Place - Ribbon and $50.00 Cash
