Join us as we welcome an agent for change, Rev. H. K. Matthews. Rev. Matthews is a nationally recognized Civil Rights Leader who has been jailed 35 times for civil rights protests. He was gassed and beaten during the march across the Pettus Bridge in Selma, Ala. in March of 1965. He integrated the Palafox Street lunch counters in Pensacola, Fla. He is the 2014 Recipient of the Morehouse College Gandhi, King, Ikeda Community Builders award. At the age of 87 he is still on the battlefield.
His reception is at 5:30 p.m. and his presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Conference Center, Ballroom C.
