Toast of the Coasts: A Food and Wine Dinner Series

Join us for our 4th Annual Toasts of the Coasts Food and Wine events at the Fish House! This series of wine dinners will feature master sommeliers and vintners showcasing stellar wines from around the world. Each event will highlight a selection of three wines paired with a four-course meal as presented by Chef Matthew Brown of the Fish House. In addition, each guest speaker will be bringing special bottles for door prizes and giveaways. According to Jean Pierre N'Dione, Fish House general manager, ''The wines we are featuring showcase the best in class, all the while highlighting special vineyards from around the world. These dinners present a wonderful opportunity for an up-close-and-personal wine education experience with some of the best!'' The series is as follows: Thursday, April 23: Larry Soble featuring Sean Minor Family of Wines Larry has been with Sean Minor Wines for two years, where he manages all sales and distribution in 19 states. He works closely with wine distributors, educating them about the wines of Sean Minor. Soble started in the wine industry in 1996 at Empire Distributors. It was there where Larry really developed a passion for wine and all that is involved in the winemaking process. Soble won many awards and trips along the way, allowing him to see wine-producing areas around the world, giving him even more extensive wine knowledge. Larry left Empire, deciding it was time to move to the next level of the wine industry. He went to the supply side and became the Southeast Regional Manager for Renwood Winery in Amador, California. It was at Renwood that Soble had the good fortune to work with Sean Minor, who was the COO of Renwood at that time. After leaving Renwood in 2006, Soble then went to Rosenblum Cellars. Following that, he broadened his expertise by working in a number of areas within the industry, eventually finding his passion with the Sean Minor Family of Wines.
