Unveiling of Permanent Collection Piece

On Thursday, December 11 from 6-730pm we are having a reception to unveil the newest piece to our permanent collection. It is a bronze sculpture of Abraham Lincoln, which was cast in a mold created by sculpture Daniel Chester French, the artist who did the Abe Lincoln statue in the Lincoln Memorial. During the reception we are honoring the donors of Abraham Lincoln, celebrating the end of our 60th anniversary and giving a sneak peak of our 2015 exhibition calendar. The reception starts at 6pm, with the program starting at 6:30pm. We are looking forward to this event and hope that you can be part of the excitement!
