World War II Remembrance at the National Naval Aviation Museum 10 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012 The National Naval Aviation Museum will honor the World War II generation on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 7 in the Blue Angels Atrium. The featured speakers will be WWII veteran and former marine Sid Phillips, star of HBO's ''The Pacific'', and his sister Katharine Phillips Singer, featured in Ken Burn's ''The War''. A book signing of Sid Phillip's book "You'll Be Sor-ree!" will follow the event. We want you! During the WWII Remembrance, photos of the WWII generation at home and abroad will be displayed on video screens in the Blue Angels Atrium. The Museum would like to request the public email scanned digital photos to xxx@navalaviationmuseum.org to be incorporated into this slide show. Photo images should be in jpeg file format and no more than 2 MB in size and should be non-violent or graphic in nature. Attendees are invited to a special tour of the World War II exhibit following the program. Admission to the Museum and the WWII Remembrance is FREE and open to the public.
